You may remember our intended Parents Sasha & Charlie. They are still in need of a surrogate to help them to become parents.
They have been married for seventeen years, Sasha and Charlie are each other’s best friends and supporters. Sasha & Charlie have two sweet fur babies, but they have longed for a child ever since they married in 2007, and their greatest heartache has been the inability to add to their family.
Over the past 6 years Sasha has undergone numerous rounds of IVF at three different IVF clinics, and unfortunately, all attempts at pregnancy have proven unsuccessful. Their Houston-based IVF clinic finally recommended they use an egg donor and a surrogate, and they have genetically normal embryos waiting to be transferred.
Charlie and Sasha work together in a commercial real estate company, and in their free time they love spending time outdoors. Hiking, fishing, and skiing are some of their favorite hobbies. They enjoy traveling and experiencing new cultures, and a frequent pastime of theirs is visiting museums and learning about art and history.
Sasha and Charlie are very united in everything they do professionally and personally. Sasha & Charlie have very close families and love being Auntie & Uncle to their nieces & nephews. They cannot wait for their children to grow up together.
Most recently in their struggle to have a baby, Sasha and Charlie received the heartbreaking news from their IVF clinic that their previous surrogate had two genes that predisposed her for miscarriage. As a result, their IVF doctor told them they needed to be matched with another surrogate. It was a difficult decision & they are grateful for all she did for them in their journey to become parents.
