As a woman-owned agency for 18 years, we proudly support individuals and couples of all backgrounds, beliefs, identities and family structures on their unique journeys to experience parenthood through surrogacy and egg donation.

We are also a team of passionate advocates and educators committed to sharing personal narratives and expert insights. Katy Encalade

Katy Encalade is the President & CEO of Egg Donor & Surrogate Solutions and a respected voice in the evolving conversation around ethics in third-party reproduction. With nearly two decades of experience in the field, she has helped guide more than 2,000 intended parents through egg donation and surrogacy journeys while building an agency known for its commitment to transparency, education, and ethical practices.

As the fertility industry expands rapidly, Katy is known for addressing the hard questions many avoid, helping intended parents, professionals, and advocates navigate complex decisions with clarity, compassion, and responsibility.

She believes that bringing children into the world carries profound responsibility and that protecting the dignity and well-being of everyone involved must remain central to family building—a conviction shaped by her own lived experiences, having served as both an egg donor and a surrogate, fostered children in her home, and now as a mother of three. This rare vantage point allows her to speak with nuance about the emotional, relational, and ethical complexities of family building. She previously served as Board Chair of the Society for Ethics in Egg Donation and Surrogacy (SEEDS) and currently serves on the board of Families Out Loud, continuing to advocate for responsible industry practices that protect intended parents, donors, surrogates, and donor-conceived people alike. She has also contributed to Called to Carry, a devotional featuring real stories from individuals navigating surrogacy, egg donation, and foster care, further reflecting her commitment to elevating the full spectrum of experiences in family building.

Through her work, she equips audiences to navigate complex family-building decisions with greater clarity, confidence, and ethical conviction.
