Hi, we’re Andy and Annie.
Our story may look a little different, but at its core, it’s very simple. We both want to build a family together, and surrogacy is how we are able to do that.
Getting here has been more complicated than we expected. Annie has always dreamed of becoming a mom, and she was devastated when she found out unexpectedly that she wouldn’t be able to carry a pregnancy. Around the same time, Andy was carrying his own uncertainty—he is a cancer survivor and for years believed he might not be able to have children.
Along the way, we’ve also faced challenges in the surrogacy process, including losing a surrogate match we had come to feel connected to. There have been moments where we felt close to holding a precious little baby, and moments where things didn’t work out the way we had hoped. All of it has made us more certain of how much we want this and how ready we are to become parents.
We’ve known each other for years, and our friendship has grown into something supportive, caring, and deeply trusting. Choosing to co-parent came from many conversations and a shared belief that we could create a loving, stable, and wonderful life for a child together. Going through this process has shown us how we support and believe in each other and are ready to move forward as a team.
Family is a big part of both of our lives. Annie is very close with her seven nieces and nephews and loves being part of their everyday moments. Andy is a hands-on dad, and some of his favorite time with his daughter is the simple kind—like their Sunday Costco trips. This baby will be surrounded by cousins, grandparents, and a lot of love from day one.
To the woman reading this, we know this is an incredible thing you are considering. If you’re someone who loves being a mom and feels drawn to help another family grow, we would feel truly grateful to meet you.
This is how we are able to have a child and build a family. We’re ready, we’re hopeful, and we would feel incredibly lucky to have the right person be part of this with us.
