Rachel and Steve are a young married couple from Houston, TX. They have a little girl who was born via surrogacy in February 2022, and she is the light of their lives! Unfortunately, Rachel learned that she could not carry a baby in her early 20’s due to her being diagnosed with multiple arterio-venous malformations (AVM) of the brain, scalp, and neck at the age of 13. While the AVMs have not significantly impacted her day-to-day life, Rachel’s doctors have discouraged her from carrying a pregnancy due to the high risk of strain to her brain and heart.
Throughout their relationship, Steve and Rachel have been planning to have their children through gestational surrogacy. They completed a cycle of IVF in February 2019 and currently have 4 frozen embryos at a fertility clinic in Houston. They want nothing more than to bring their embryos to life and give their precious daughter a sibling.
Steve and Rachel would love to have frequent contact with their surrogate throughout the pregnancy, and they are hoping for a long-term relationship with her after delivery. Their highest priority in choosing a surrogate is to find someone who is a kind-hearted and joyful person with a strong family or friend support system. They would be so grateful to complete their family through the generosity of others!
During their free time, Rachel and Steve enjoy making homemade pizzas, working out, watching movies, and spending time with their beautiful daughter. They also enjoy traveling, both domestically and internationally, when they can. They love to hike, visit art museums, and try new foods when they are visiting new places.
