Sarah, a dedicated Pediatric Physical Therapist, brings over a decade of passion and expertise to her work, specializing in Outpatient Pediatric Orthopedics. Despite her demanding career, she’s eagerly anticipating the next chapter: motherhood. With a heart as big as her dedication to her profession, Sarah envisions transitioning to part-time work to fully immerse herself in the joys of raising a child.
Mike is a US Army Veteran, and served 2 tours in Iraq and 1 to Afghanistan as a Medic in the US Army. He will receive his doctorate in business in a couple months, having recently defended his dissertation! As a full-time director of sales for a life insurance technology company, Mike combines his military discipline with his academic drive to excel in his career. His love for music, motorcycles, and golf reflects his love for life and his appreciation for the outdoors.
Sarah and Mike have gone through several years of fertility struggles with several rounds of IVF. Concurrently, Sarah struggled with stage 4 endometriosis and recurrent pelvic and abdominal infections leading to multiple surgeries and hospitalization over the past several years. Ultimately, Sarah had to have a complete hysterectomy and Sarah & Mike need the help of a surrogate to become parents.
Despite everything that they’ve gone through, two things have remained constant, their steadfast love for one another and their desire to be parents. Betty is their 9 year old German Sheppard-Hound mix who is very anxious to have a little brother/sister and has been asking for one for years.
