Meet Lauren & Greg

Help Lauren and Greg Grow Their Brooklyn Family

Hi! We’re Lauren and Greg, a kind, down-to-earth couple living in Brooklyn, New York. We love our life together, but we know there is someone very special missing from it.

I have dreamed of becoming a mother for as long as I can remember. In my early 30s, doctors discovered a rare ovarian tumor that required multiple surgeries.  Because of my medical history, surrogacy offers us the safest path to growing our family.

“I have dreamed of becoming a mother for as long as I can remember”- Lauren

Greg is already a wonderful father to his smart, kind, funny, and hardworking 16-year-old daughter. Watching him support and encourage her has made me even more excited to see him with our future child. She is equally excited about becoming a big sister!

Our personalities balance each other well. Greg is the more serious and analytical one, while I am outgoing and usually the one making everyone laugh. Even choosing a movie highlights our differences. Greg checks the Rotten Tomatoes score and refuses anything below 85 percent, while some of my favorites barely reach 60 percent!

We love skiing, golfing, playing tennis, traveling, cooking, exploring new restaurants, and spending time with family and friends. Greg could happily eat tacos every day, while I am always searching for the best pasta. We do not currently have pets, but we both grew up with them and would love to welcome one into our family someday.

We are surrounded by a loving support system. My father lives nearby and cannot wait to become a grandfather. Greg has a large, close-knit family, and his sister’s family, including her two young daughters, will be a special part of our child’s life.

More than anything, we hope to meet someone with whom conversation feels natural and trust can grow. We would love a close, supportive relationship with our surrogate, with regular communication and opportunities to attend appointments when possible. At the same time, we will always respect her comfort level and boundaries.

After everything we have experienced, we will never take becoming parents for granted. We hope our surrogate will always know how deeply we value her, not only for what she is helping us achieve, but for the incredible person she is.

Called To Carry

Surrogacy is more than medical. It’s deeply spiritual. And discerning a call to carry (or to let someone carry for you) isn’t always easy. Whether you’re pursuing surrogacy, preparing to carry for someone else, or just navigating unfamiliar terrain, you’re not alone. Called to Carry is a 14-day devotional for women of faith walking through the sacred, complex, and often hidden journey of surrogacy. Get your free copy today.
