Katie and Sean are both 31 years old, and they have been married for 6 years. They have a beautiful 4-year-old little girl who is their miracle baby.
Katie has been pregnant one time, and at 24 weeks she was diagnosed with HELLP syndrome. Two days after she was diagnosed, she went into labor and little Margaret Mae was born. Margaret weighed less than a pound when she was born, and she was in the NICU for 5 months. Katie and Sean have always desired to have a large family, but after multiple discussions with various OBs and Maternal Fetal Medicine specialists, they have been advised that any pregnancy Katie might carry would be too risky for her and their unborn child. Katie and Sean are very active people. They love going to the beach, going on walks, traveling, exercising together, and having cookouts with family and friends.
