Lindsey’s journey to motherhood has been stalled due to a health condition called Neurofibromatosis Type 1 (NF). Although it did not affect her daily life during childhood, at the age of 17, she discovered she had a benign and non-removable brain tumor. Regular MRI check-ups during her college years unveiled the risks associated with carrying a pregnancy due to the tumor’s size and nature. Lindsey had long known that surrogacy would be an integral part of her path to parenthood.
