Galentine’s Day at Egg Donor & Surrogate Solutions

While Valentine’s Day is about romance, Galentine’s Day is a special day devoted to female friendships. Celebrated on February 13th, Galentine’s Day was first introduced in 2010 on the popular TV show Parks and Recreation by character Leslie Knope (portrayed by Amy Poehler). Although not an official holiday, a day dedicated to spending time with your favorite gal pals is definitely one worth celebrating!

Galentine’s Day is a great opportunity to strengthen friendships, create memorable moments, and celebrate the bonds between friends. It’s a day dedicated to appreciating and cherishing the important women in your life.

This is the perfect opportunity to share a personal experience shared by egg donor, Chelsey during her journey as an egg donor.

Chelsey’s story showcases the experience of traveling for an egg retrieval, emphasizing the bonding and fun moments shared with her best friend, Marissa. The trip allowed them to explore new places, enjoy leisure activities, and create lasting memories together. Additionally, Chelsey’s initiative to create a video documenting her egg donation experience is commendable. Sharing her journey through a video format helped her inform and educate others about the process, prompting conversations and inquiries from friends who were curious about her experience.

Galentine’s Day is about celebrating friendships, and Chelsey’s experience reflects the importance of supportive friends in significant life events, like the egg donation process. It’s a reminder of the value of close relationships and the joy that comes from sharing experiences with friends.

Refer a friend to Egg Donor Solutions

Many of our donors are referred by friends who have had a great experience with our agency. When you refer a friend, and she completes an application, you’ll receive a $25 gift card just for the referral. If she completes a cycle with us, you’ll receive a $500 bonus! At EDS, egg donors earn $9,000 to $14,000 per cycle and can complete up to six donation cycles (per the guidelines established by the American Society for Reproductive Medicine). Donors are between the ages of 21-28 and must meet certain criteria, such as having a regular monthly cycle, a BMI between 21-28, must be a college graduate or pursing a college degree, and must be able to provide a detailed personal and family health history. Please visit our website for a complete list of egg donor requirements.

Travel opportunities

Donors who are willing to go outside their city or state to complete a donation cycle often have the opportunity to travel. In addition, a donor who is open to travel will typically have more intended parents interested in her profile than women who are only available to donate locally. When you travel for a cycle, you are able to bring a companion along to provide support before, during and after the egg retrieval. All expenses are paid, and your EDS Care Coordinator will handle all the travel arrangements.

No matter how you choose to spend Galentine’s Day, we hope you tell your friends about Egg Donor Solutions and/or consider becoming a donor yourself! For more information, please visit www.eggdonorinformation.com or contact us at Info@CreateAHappyFamily.com
