They are a happily married, young couple from Texas. They have been together for 6 years and married for one. They met through a mutual friend and dated long-distance for a couple of years due to them living in different cities. For the past year, they have been trying to get pregnant but have been unable to.
Elisa has type 1 diabetes. She and Ryan were actively trying for pregnancy when they found out about complications from Elise’s diabetes. The risk of these complications worsening and progressing in pregnancy is very high so after discussion with Elise’s retinal specialist, endocrinologist, and MFM, they ultimately decided carrying a pregnancy would be too dangerous for her long-term health.

rd decision to make. Ultimately, I know the only way I can be a good mom is to be a healthy one, even if that means I can’t carry the pregnancy myself.”
Ryan and Elise have a very large, close-knit family who is very excited about them becoming parents and adding a little one to the mix. Elise and Ryan enjoy camping together, spending time with their friends, and enjoying various breweries in Texas. They love Mexican food and Italian food and look forward to their monthly date together when they can go out and enjoy a night on the town.
Elise and Ryan are looking for that special person to help them complete their family through surrogacy. They desire a close relationship with her, and if she is open, they would love to add a sibling to their family one day as well.
