I am Chaya & my husband is Moisey!
Moisey is a recruiter for a tech startup, his favorite part of the job is being able to help people land their dream job. I am a social worker who is passionate about my career. I work for a small family practice, primarily with kids and teens. It can be challenging emotionally but it’s incredibly rewarding to see my clients reaching their therapeutic goals and living happier lives.
We both come from large Jewish families. My husband has two brothers and two sisters, and I have three brothers and one sister. We are close with both sides, and we all get together often whether it’s our families coming to New Jersey or us going to them in Brooklyn. My husband’s siblings each have their own children so our child would have a lot of cousins to play with. From my siblings I was the first to get married and my parents would be thrilled to have their first grandchild.
I have cystic fibrosis and have had two lung transplants. My doctor recommended surrogacy as the best option because it would not be safe for me to be pregnant due to pregnancy possibly causing high rates of organ rejection and being on transplant medication which is not safe during pregnancy.
My husband and I have always wanted children and now that I am thankfully healthy, we feel like this is a great time and opportunity to start a family.
We’re looking for a surrogate who is passionate about helping couples achieve their dream of starting a family and being part of that journey. We would like to receive updates after appointments and be as involved as we can and to the extent that the surrogate wishes.
