Meet Donnie & Zac

Dear Future Surrogate,

First and foremost, thank you for taking the time to learn more about us and for considering such an extraordinary journey. We have tremendous respect for the strength, compassion, and generosity it takes to become a surrogate. The possibility that someone may choose to help us grow our family is something we will never take for granted.

We are Donnie and Zac, and we live on a small ranch in the Fort Worth area. Our relationship is built on love, our similar interests, loyalty, and a shared commitment to family. Donnie is a Global Benefits Consultant & Broker with a global insurance brokerage firm, and Zac is a Project Manager for a remediation and disaster restoration company.

Our personalities complement each other well. Donnie is thoughtful, organized, and always ready to make people laugh, while Zac is hardworking, steady, and naturally caring. We both value honesty, kindness, respect, and open communication. We enjoy traveling, attending country music concerts, barbecuing, trying new foods, and spending time with the people we love. We also appreciate quieter moments, relaxing outside at our home, caring for our farm animals, making homemade pasta or ice cream, and simply enjoying time together.

Family is at the center of our lives. Both of our families live nearby right outside the Fort Worth, Texas area, and our parents, siblings, nieces, nephews, and close friends are actively involved in our lives. We love attending our nieces’ and nephews’ activities, celebrating their milestones, and hosting family gatherings and holidays at our home.

Zac also has a wonderful six-year-old daughter named Mya from a previous relationship. She is a very special part of our family, and we are grateful for the joy, energy, and love she brings into our lives. We are excited about the opportunity to welcome another child into a home surrounded by loving grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins, and close friends.

Our home would not be complete without our animals. Abby, our giant Schnoodle (schnauzer/poodle mix), is affectionately known as the queen of the house, while Dude, our Golden Retriever, is the king. We joke that it is their world and we are just living in it. They are loving, full of personality, and wonderful with children. Our ranch is also home to our heard of Nigerian Dwarf goats and our flock of mixed-breed laying hens + our rooster, Buffington. Caring for our animals keeps life interesting and has deepened our appreciation for the simple joys of home and family.

When we think about our future surrogate, we hope to find someone who is kind, compassionate, confident in her decision, and comfortable with open and honest communication. We also value someone who has a strong support system and is willing to work together as a team. Above all, we want our surrogate to feel respected, supported, appreciated, and cared for throughout the entire journey.

We view surrogacy as a true partnership built on trust, compassion, and mutual respect. We understand that every relationship is unique, and we are open to the level of contact that feels most comfortable and supportive for the surrogate. At the same time, we would love to build a connected and positive relationship throughout the pregnancy/journey.

What we look forward to most is becoming parents together and welcoming a child into the loving life we have built. We often imagine introducing our child to our families, celebrating holidays and milestones, spending time together at our ranch, traveling with the little ones, and creating meaningful memories as a family. Knowing that our child will grow up surrounded by so much love and encouragement makes this journey especially meaningful to us.

We feel incredibly fortunate to have a large and loving support system that will be with us throughout this process. In addition to our family and friends, we have the support of our fertility team, medical professionals, and individuals who have personal experience with surrogacy. We believe a strong support system is important not only for us, but also for our surrogate. We want you to know that you would be surrounded by people who are committed to making this a positive, respectful, and supportive experience.

We hope this letter gives you a meaningful glimpse into who we are, the values we share, and the life we have built together. We understand that choosing intended parents is a deeply personal decision, and we would be honored to learn more about you, your family, and what is most important to you.

Thank you again for considering us and for the remarkable gift you are willing to give. If our paths come together, we promise to approach this journey with gratitude, honesty, compassion, and a commitment to ensuring that you feel valued every step of the way.

With heartfelt appreciation,
Donnie and Zac
