If you are reading this, thank you. Truly. It takes a special kind of heart to even consider helping a family grow, and we already feel so grateful for you. We are Pilar and Tony, a Florida couple working in the world of education. I (Pilar) am an elementary school principal, which means I spend my days surrounded by tiny humans, big imaginations, and the occasional glitter explosion. Tony works in education too and also somehow finds time to serve our community, support nonprofits, and run one of his own. He has even served as Vice Mayor in our hometown. I often joke that if kindness were a degree, he would hold a doctorate.
We love learning, laughing, exploring new places, and visiting restaurants owned by the people who pour their whole soul into their food. Tony is the foodie in the family. I never know what city or cuisine he will drag me to next, but I happily tag along for the adventure. When we are not traveling, we enjoy concerts, museums, farmer’s markets, and anything that lets us experience life with the people we love.
And then there is Petunia. She is our four year old French bulldog who probably has the best life of all of us. She runs the show. We are her staff.
More than anything, we want you to know that family is our foundation. We come from tight knit homes where values, compassion, and education matter deeply. We are so ready to become parents and raise a child who is curious, kind, well rounded, and loved beyond measure.
