Meet Ali & David, they are both originally from the Chicagoland suburban area.
They lived in Alabama for 9 years before moving back home, and still enjoy going back to see friends & family. Ali is still part of the yearly Mardi Gras festival as she is on one of the crews there. They also spend time down in Florida for David’s job and visiting with family to escape the cold climate.
David is in the energy business; Ali is an Interior Designer and both work from home. They have an 8-year-old 8 pound yorkie named Vito, he is a lot of fun and a playful goofy dog. They are close to their families & have a great group of friends who all look forward to spending time with the new arrival.
Ali has 2 very close friends who one is going through this process now, and another friend who had 2 children recently from using a surrogate.
Ali & David went through IVF where Ali said she had no idea how hard it would be on her. Between the meds, discovering a polyp, enduring surgery and sadly experiencing a miscarriage.
After failed IVFs Ali & David have decided surrogacy is their best chance to become parents.
Ali & David received shocking news that Ali has been diagnosed with breast cancer. They are trying to focus on positive aspects of their life & after Ali’s recent diagnosis with breast cancer, it has also made them realize they want to find a surrogate as soon as possible!
What they are looking for in a GC: They would enjoy friendly contact with their surrogate and hope to have a good connection with her as she becomes pregnant. They would be happy to do whatever makes sense for everyone involved & keep in contact with them after birth of the child.
They know they would be the best parents and just want to do everything they can do to achieve their dream together of being parents to a wonderful baby.
