Amber and Patrick are ready for that next chapter and they are hoping to meet the woman who will help make it possible. They are not a high pressure couple. They are good company kind of people: the type you can imagine laughing with in a kitchen or texting in the middle of the day just to laugh about a good meme.
By day, Amber works with an incredible nonprofit that creates adventures for kids (and their families) who are facing a terminal illness. After inspiring days, she kicks back like a true Swiftie listening to Reputation on repeat while feeding her sourdough starter and tending to her garden. She takes audiobook walks with her dog Jolene who struts around like she was named by Dolly herself. She reads, travels, and watches reality TV with zero shame and full joy.
Patrick brings the sports and the sauté pan. He can talk Alabama football and basketball like a second language. He reads for fun. He cares about what is happening in the world. He loves to cook and will absolutely hunt for the best restaurant in whatever city they land in next. He is steady, smart, and fully invested in being a very good dad.
More than anything they want a relationship with their surrogate that feels human. Not stiff. Not forced. Not calendar- invite energy. They would rather text when it feels natural and chat like real people while still keeping healthy boundaries for everyone. If it blossoms into a lasting friendship they would be thrilled. If it is kind and respectful and warm throughout the journey they will be deeply grateful.
