We are Raphael and Yesenia, and becoming parents has always been our deepest dream. Because of an autoimmune condition, pregnancy would be dangerous for me (Yesenia). While this reality has been painful, it has also led us here—to our search for a surrogate who might help us grow the family we long for.
We’ve built a life together in Miami, where we were both born and raised. Both of us work as insurance agents and own five agency franchises. Even though work has been a big part of our lives, family is what matters most. When we imagine raising a child, we picture everyday moments—packing lunches, planning Disney movie nights with popcorn and snuggles, and creating traditions filled with love and laughter.
Our families mean the world to us. Raphael comes from a big family with siblings, nieces, and nephews. I grew up an only child, but my cousins have always been like siblings. We love hosting holidays, cooking, laughing, and spending time with the people who matter most. At home, our two dogs, Minnie and April, keep us company and remind us that love comes in many forms.
We’re also big on fun. Raphael is a Miami Dolphins fan through and through, even if the team sometimes breaks his heart. I love romantic comedies and cooking new recipes, while together we enjoy karaoke, dancing, traveling, and trips to the beach.
Our faith has sustained us through this season. We’ve grown closer to God and believe this path will lead us to the family we’ve always prayed for. We are loyal, grateful, and ready to honor and cherish the surrogate who helps us welcome our long-awaited child.
