Amy and Russell have been married 5 years and live in South Texas. They have been working hard to build a family for the past five years, knowing they would face challenges getting pregnant, and have gone through lots of heartbreaking losses. It took several rounds of IVF before they had healthy embryos to transfer. During her first pregnancy, Amy went into early labor at 25 weeks gestation and lost their daughter, Sloane. She almost lost her life as well. Amy went on to carry two more babies (separate pregnancies), losing them both in the first trimester. Sadly, Amy has suffered several complications and is no longer a viable option to carry. Through so much heartache and loss, they have persevered and are ready to match with a GC who wants to involve Intended Parents. Russell and Amy have a few genetically tested embryos that they want to give a chance at life and are very hopeful that a Surrogate could help make these dreams come true.
Amy works in the education field, while Russell works in medical research. They have two precious pups, Bailey and Penny, that get a lot of their attention and are looking forward to a tiny human in the house. When not working, they enjoy live theater, concerts, and trying new flavors and dishes at restaurants around the city. Amy is a HUGE baseball fan and has been to all 30 MLB stadiums, while Russell enjoys college football. Amy loves to bake and plans to spoil her surrogate with yummy baked treats along the way!
