Hi, we’re Kim and Ben, and we’re so glad you’re here. 

We’re the kind of couple who finds joy in everyday life. We spend time outdoors near our home in coastal Virginia whenever we can, whether that is hiking, enjoying long summer days at the beach with friends, or attempting a shared run together (Ben runs, Kim…keeps a steady jog going), and working our way through movie lists so we never have to ask, “What should we watch tonight?” again.  When Ben is away for the night, Kim rotates through comfort favorites like Harry Potter, Lord of the Rings, and the occasional true crime binge. 

Ben is a Navy pilot, currently on a shore tour and we’re hoping to connect with the right GC quickly so that he can be at our child’s delivery and enjoy those special newborn moments before returning to the fleet and deploying in late 2027.  Kim works from home with a flexible schedule. That flexibility is something we’re incredibly grateful for, especially as we think about becoming parents. When we welcome a baby, Kim plans to step away from work to fully soak in those early years. 

While our home is not complete without a baby, it’s certainly already lively!  Apollo, our puppy, is currently four months old and already running the show. Millie, our once foster cat turned permanent family member, keeps things interesting with her sass and charm. We love building a home that feels warm, lively, and full of joy. 

What matters most to us in this journey is connection. We want to be present, supportive, and genuinely invested in our surrogate’s experience. We will absolutely be your biggest cheerleaders. Whether that looks like regular texts, showing up to key appointments (even if travel is required), or simply being there when you need encouragement, we want you to feel supported every step of the way. We’re beyond grateful for this little one and would not consider termination outside of the most dire of circumstances and intend to work collaboratively with our GC to make decisions that honor everyone.
