Rashna’s early love of math led her to study Statistics and then on to a job in the airline industry. After earning an MBA, she transitioned to software where she had the opportunity to travel the world, meeting with client teams and providing business guidance. She now runs the Inclusion, Volunteer, and Sustainability programs for the same company—a career that provides her with fulfillment and a great amount of flexibility to work at home when desired. Rashna enjoys playing tennis, designing elegant dishes in the kitchen, and doing arts and crafts projects with her nieces!
Vijay grew up in a small town. He spent summers working in his mom’s medical practice, which allowed him to connect with neighbors who taught him various trades and led to his eclectic personality. He went on to study Finance and Neuroscience, and after completing medical school, he combined his passions for business and medicine to create a niche consulting practice. He now runs operations and delivers patient education for multiple medical practices across a variety of specialties. Vijay loves building cars, fantasy football, and taking in the beauty of the outdoors—whether hiking a mountain or playing a round on the golf course.
Just a year after their wedding, Rashna underwent a life-changing kidney transplant. This experience bonded them in ways they never could have anticipated, as Vijay was her kidney donor—a rare and miraculous event. Through God’s blessings and the marvels of science, Rashna now carries Vijay’s kidney, a precious gift that deepened their gratitude and love for one another.
Before their marriage, Vijay and Rashna made a thoughtful decision to freeze embryos via IVF.
