Meet Amily & Jarred

First, thank you for taking the time to read about us. If you are considering becoming a Gestational Carrier, we want you to know how deeply we respect the heart and generosity it takes to even explore this path.

Our journey to parenthood has not been simple. We have experienced multiple pregnancy losses, which have been heartbreaking. Those experiences have deepened our gratitude for the possibility of becoming parents and for the person who might walk alongside us in that journey. Surrogacy represents hope for our family, and we approach it with humility and appreciation.

One thing that matters deeply to us is open communication. We would like to have open communication with our surrogate through the entire process and after, whether that is in person, through phone calls, or through text. We hope to be present for or hear about every milestone during the pregnancy journey. While I will be able to travel for more appointments than my husband, we would love opportunities to spend time together with our surrogate and her family when possible.

We enjoy being outside and go for daily walks in our neighborhood. Our walks give us time to connect away from phones and talk about our day. We also enjoy hunting and fishing and spend many weekends at our family fishing camp either relaxing or out on the boat.

We like to cook and spend a lot of time in the kitchen. When we renovated our home, we customized our kitchen with lots of storage and a huge range. We also enjoy traveling, especially to beach destinations where we can sit all day with a good book. We love live music and often plan trips around concerts.

Family is very important to us. We both come from large families and recently moved back to our hometown so we could live closer to them. We now live about ten minutes from one set of parents and thirty five minutes from the other.

At the heart of it all, we feel like best friends and life feels easy together. We are hopeful about the future and grateful for the possibility of meeting someone who would help us grow our family.
