It tugged on my heartstrings and inspired me to become an egg donor and help another family in that same way.”

Looking back on her egg donation, Rachel recalls it with deep gratitude and joy. “I feel like I had a one in a million donation experience,” she says. From traveling to Colorado and exploring the mountains to building a warm and supportive relationship with her intended mother, every step was filled with connection. “It was very involved from the get-go and warm & fuzzy, which made the experience a million times better.”

Surrogacy wasn’t always on Rachel’s radar, but a chance relationship changed that. “I worked for a really great woman who conceived her son using a surrogate,” she explains. “She would always speak so highly of her surrogate and the amazing gift that she blessed her with.”

Other milestones were just as emotional: the anatomy scan when the intended parents discovered the babies’ gender, and the moment they held their newborns for the first time. “They got to see, hold, kiss, and love on their precious babies they waited so long for,” Rachel says, still moved by the memory.

One of the most beautiful aspects of Rachel’s story is the deep connection she felt with the intended parents in both journeys. “I am the MOST blessed/luckiest surrogate and egg donor who was matched with two sets of INCREDIBLE IPs,” she says. “We, as coordinators, refer to relationships like I had as ‘total love fests.’”
Those relationships, built on respect, communication, and love, didn’t end at the birth. They’ve continued to grow, and that ongoing connection means the world to Rachel.
