Katy has a true passion for helping intended parents create their families through egg donation and surrogacy. After 15 years in the industry some of the best moments are still receiving Birth Announcements from the families the company has served over the years and hearing the impact egg donation and surrogacy has made on the women willing to make such a difference in the lives of others. As both a former egg donor and gestational carrier, Katy brings personal experience to the company’s mission of creating happy families.
Egg Donor & Surrogate Solutions has been a member of the Society for Ethics in Egg Donation and Surrogacy (SEEDS) (https://www.seedsethics.org/) since 2018 and now serves on the Board of Directors (https://www.seedsethics.org/about-us). She earned her bachelor’s degree in business and psychology from Dallas Baptist University. She lives in Prosper, Texas with her husband, Blake, and their three children. She is actively involved in her local church, enjoys reading and cheering on her children in their activities. Katy is grateful to be a part of an agency that SERVES intended parents, egg donors, surrogates, and the donor conceived people we help create by providing a fulfilling experience through meaningful relationships, education, and guidance on their journey.
Gayle Garrett has a huge passion for assisting intended parents as they grow their family via surrogacy. Gayle has been in the industry since 2007, and during that time she carried twins as a gestational carrier for an international couple that she remains in contact with until this day. Giving the gift of life to a family that could not create a family on their own is the single greatest thing Gayle has ever done. She loves giving to and serving others, and she works diligently to ensure our Surrogate Program provides intended parents and surrogates with the attention, education, and support they need throughout the surrogacy process.
Gayle is a Registered Nurse with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree from Oral Roberts University in Tulsa, Oklahoma, where she currently resides with her husband and five children. When Gayle is not helping to create families, you can find her working at a local hospital with adolescents and women struggling with eating disorders, traveling, or spending time with her family.
Kallie has been a part of the Egg Donation industry since 2014 and started working with our Surrogate Program in 2021. Kallie is a member of our Senior Leadership Team and focuses her efforts on our coordination teams, providing educational opportunities for our team, and day-to-day operations. Kallie has a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and Counseling and a Master of Science in Social Work with an emphasis on community and administrative practices. Her years of experience in case management (egg donation, adolescents, and mental health), and her strong communication and problem-solving skills give her the ability to support both Coordination teams and develop new strategies for serving our clients well.
Outside of work, she loves spending time with her wife, Angela, and their 3 girls. She enjoys running around to everyone’s activities and/or sports events, Colorado evenings outside, and a good book!
Lauren has found no greater joy than bringing people together and creating happy families. She has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology from the University of Georgia and has been a part of the team since 2010. She now serves on the Senior Leadership team and is the Director of Matching and Education for our surrogacy program. Lauren loves meeting people, sharing her knowledge with others about all the facets of surrogacy, and facilitating the relationships built during the journey. She is incredibly grateful to be a part of such an amazing team and contribute in such a meaningful way.
When not working, Lauren is likely at the hockey rink or lacrosse field watching her teenage sons do what they love. She believes in living her best life and is very active with her friends and hobbies. She loves listening to podcasts while taking long walks with her black lab, working out, doing yoga, meditation, reading, finding great new restaurants and traveling as much as she can!
Angela brings with her a wealth of expertise coming from a background as an IVF coordinator in clinical settings for over 8 years. Angela possesses an unwavering passion for assisting others, which extends beyond her professional life. In addition to her role in the clinic, she plays an integral part in managing a family insulation business.
Hailing from the sunny state of Florida, Angela’s roots have instilled in her a deep appreciation for coastal living. When she’s not dedicating her time to work, she finds solace in indulging in two of her favorite pastimes: spending quality moments at the beach and relishing the enchantment of Disney World. Currently residing in the DFW area, Angela cherishes the joys and challenges of being a mother to her two daughters, ages 26 and 17, who keep her constantly on her toes.
Angela has a huge passion for helping others by listening, being supportive, and giving hope to the families and surrogates she works with as a Surrogacy Coordination Manager. Being a surrogate was something Angela contemplated for years, and in 2012 she embarked on her first journey. She has extensive knowledge both because of her personal and professional experience and guides and supports clients through this process with ease. Angela helped complete two families and delivered four baby boys into the arms of their loving parents. Angela and her husband live in Rosenberg, Texas and have three grown children, two sweet grandsons and a precious granddaughter on the way. In their spare time they enjoy traveling, spending time with their children and grandchildren, attending festivals and exploring new restaurants.
Holly joined Egg Donor & Surrogate Solutions in 2013 and serves our team as the Egg Donor Education Manager. She takes pride in ensuring each one of our potential egg donors is educated on the process, commitment and difference they are making by choosing to be an egg donor. In addition to educating donors, she oversees the Egg Donor Matching team and the maintenance of our Egg Donor database ensuring that our available egg donors are willing to move forward upon selection by a family. Holly is a Registered Nurse with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Oklahoma. Her knowledge of the medical field is a wonderful asset to our team. She is a loving wife and mother to three precious children and enjoys traveling, OU Football, and curling up with a good book.
Allyson’s personal struggle with infertility as she was starting her own family led to her passion for helping others create their happy families. She has done three surrogacy journeys (all boys!) and maintains close relationships with the families. As a Surrogacy Coordinator, Allyson guides and supports intended parents and surrogates through the process and is an advocate for both parties. Allyson has dual bachelor’s degrees in political science and psychology from the University of North Texas. Prior to joining Egg Donor & Surrogate Solutions, she worked as a legal assistant and, most recently, as a credentialing manager for a group of anesthesiologists. Her experience in the legal and medical fields are an asset in her current role, as she helps intended parents and surrogates navigate the complexities of contracts and medical screenings. Allyson resides in the Dallas area with her husband and four children. In her free time, she enjoys supporting her children in their various activities, running 5Ks with her family, and curling up with a cup of coffee and a good book.
With a master’s degree in social work, Amanda lives out her passion for advocacy in her role as an Egg Donor Coordinator. Her professional experience includes case management and advocacy in foster care, adoption, trauma counseling, and drug and alcohol recovery. Her background has transitioned seamlessly to running egg donation cycles, and she strives to hold space, empathy, and compassion for everyone walking the journey to create their happy family. She lives in sunny Florida with her amazing partner, Donovan, and their sweet daughter. In her free time, you can find her spending quality time with family, exploring outside, or cuddled up with a book.
Barette was inspired by friends to become a surrogate in 2014 after witnessing years of their personal infertility struggles. Barette had such an amazing experience, she was a surrogate once again in 2019.
She is dedicated to educating others on surrogacy & sharing with every woman she meets the difference surrogacy can make in their lives. Barette manages our social media pages, if you aren’t yet… follow & like us!
She and her husband of 17 years have two boys and three Boston terriers. In their spare time you will catch them living the boat life and walking on the sugar sand beaches in beautiful Florida.
After 5 years of infertility, 2 failed IVF and 6 failed IUI cycles, Courtney finally found herself pregnant with her first child, via her third IVF. Courtney finds herself a pro at managing the ins and outs of 3 different schools, multiple sports, and church schedules. Prior to joining Egg Donor & Surrogate Solutions, Courtney had many years of experience in various roles in schools. With a bachelor’s degree in psychology and a minor in family science from Cameron University, Courtney is extremely invested in our youth. Helping others create happy families is a passion Courtney is excited to pursue with Egg Donor & Surrogate Solutions. Courtney lives in the DFW area with her family and two dogs. In her free time, she enjoys taking random adventures with her family to create new fun memories.
A knowledgeable and empathetic professional, Denise is committed to providing valuable education and information about egg donation to potential donors. Known for her keen attention to detail and unwavering drive to achieve success, Denise has proven highly effective as an Egg Donor Educator. She takes great pride in being able to help create happy families through Egg Donation and Surrogacy.
Denise is a mother of two and is currently residing in upstate New York. She is the proud parent of a son who is studying Law Enforcement, and a daughter who is happily married and runs her own Digital Marketing Company. Denise enjoys supporting her son at baseball games, indulging in a good book, or visiting her daughter and son-in-law down south when she is not working.
Janeth is often the first contact a potential egg donor has with Egg Donor Solutions. We understand that the application process can be overwhelming and she is eager to answer each egg donor’s questions to ensure they are knowledgeable about the process and also completes a profile that accurately reflects each woman’s personality. Janeth earned a degree in Guidance and Counseling. Janeth is married with three girls, 2 fur babies and a growing collection of around 150 succulents and cacti. She enjoys DIY and crafting, gardening, interior designs, going to the beach, food tasting, social psychology, and is an advocate of doing random acts of kindness.
Jordyn feels very honored to assist our coordinators in helping each surrogacy and egg donation cycle to run as smoothly as possible. Jordyn is a previous 5-time egg donor and has a passion for helping to create happy families both personally and professionally. She lives in Dallas with her amazing husband, precious son, and her two adorable puppies who are all her world. She loves going to her husband’s soccer games, playing around the house with her son, taking her dogs on long walks around the neighborhood, and binge-watching hallmark movies.
In her role as an Intended Parent Onboarding & Matching Coordinator, Meg works with both gestational carriers and intended parents to educate and guide them through the surrogacy process. She was inspired to help intended parents create their families as a surrogate after she and her husband experienced secondary infertility and had to undergo IVF to conceive their twin boys. She values the close connection and friendship she maintains with the families she carried for.
She has a master’s degree in social work, and her professional background includes hospice care, early childhood education, and 4 years walking families through the egg donor process. Meg lives in Waco, Texas with her husband and their four children. When she isn’t spending her free time with her family, Meg enjoys running, reading, traveling, Baylor Football, and being involved at her church.
Melissa has over a decade of experience in supporting a large team and their clients by providing tools and resources they need to be successful in their roles and reach their goals. Her heart to serve others is evident by her desire to ensure that everyone around her feels supported through open lines of communication, proactive problem-solving skills, and genuine care for reaching the best outcome for everyone involved. Melissa takes great pride in and finds personal joy in providing high levels of service that leave others feeling heard and valued. These attributes allow her to support and serve our team and clients well, knowing they can always count on her to do the right thing, with their best interest at heart. Melissa, her amazing husband and 2 beautiful daughters live in the Texas Hill Country where she loves to be outdoors, to float the river, to spend time with their animals and feels blessed by serving alongside her husband in their church’s marriage ministry.
After finishing her egg donation cycle with Egg Donor & Surrogate Solutions in early 2022, Mikela became an Egg Donor Educator for the company. With the background as a Senior Customer Care Representative, she aims to provide the same level of expertise and attentiveness to her new role. Being an egg donor has had a profound impact on Mikela’s life. Bringing happiness to families through her donations has given her a sense of purpose and fulfillment. She is thrilled to be able to help other donors as a career. Mikela resides in upstate New York with her fiancée and their five boys. She enjoys music, cooking, spending time with loved ones, and volunteering at her children’s school.
After easy pregnancies with her own children, Paige contemplated being a surrogate for years. After she and her husband completed their own family (and the year she turned 30), she felt that if she was ever going to be a surrogate it was now or never. Paige delivered a healthy boy to the arms of his parents in 2021 and is currently in the process of completing a sibling journey. Paige is thankful that her family supports her dreams and never lets her live with regrets. Paige has a Master’s in Social Work and before joining Egg Donor & Surrogate Solutions worked side by side with the County Prosecutor and was the Victim Advocate for her county. As a Surrogacy Coordinator, Paige guides and advocates for both surrogates and intended parents on their journeys. She lives in Southern Illinois and enjoys spending time with her husband and their two children in her free time. To relax, she loves to walk up and down the aisles at Target, thrifting home décor, going out to dinner, or curling up on the couch to watch her comfort shows.
After being inspired by a friend’s positive experience as a surrogate, Pashey embarked on a journey to help other families experience the joy of having children. Despite initially deciding to wait due to uncertainties about expanding her own family, a heartbreaking event involving a close friend undergoing IVF prompted Pashey to believe it was finally the right time. Pashey delivered a baby girl in August of 2022 to her parents and still feels like her experience was so precious and amazing. Pashey has the joy of now being able to help to create families as a Surrogacy Coordinator for Egg Donor & Surrogate Solutions. She comes to us with an administrative background in the education system and will use her attention to detail to help give her Intended Parents and Surrogates a positive surrogacy experience. Pashey and her husband live in the Tulsa area with their two children. They love spending time at a sports complex watching their girls play the sports they love, camping at the lake during the summer, and family game nights.
Rachel joins the Egg Donor & Surrogate Solutions team as our Egg Donor Match Coordinator bringing 15 years of teaching experience to the table. What sets Rachel apart is her firsthand understanding of the physical and emotional toll that repeated IVF attempts can take. She and her husband faced a challenging seven-year journey to expand their family, grappling with the disappointments of unsuccessful attempts. However, their perseverance paid off, as they were fortunate enough to connect with an egg donor, resulting in the joyous arrival of two incredible children.
Outside of work, Rachel’s heart belongs to her family, and she relishes every moment spent with them. She also makes it a priority to maintain a strong connection with her husband by regularly enjoying date nights together. She calls the DFW area home, where she resides with her loving husband and two wonderful children. Rachel’s personal journey and unwavering dedication to her family and work make her invaluable to our team.
Shannon Peguero Taveras
Shannon completed her first surrogacy journey with Egg Donor & Surrogate Solutions in June of 2022. She considers herself so blessed to have an extremely close relationship with the family she carried for. She describes their journey as “fusing two separate families into one”. Having always wanted to help families in some way, she is thrilled to be part of a team where we help create families every day.
Shannon lives in the Harrisburg, Pennsylvania area with her husband of six years, 5-year-old daughter, 3-year-old son and their 3 dogs. She graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Human Development and Family Studies and has spent the last several years serving Dauphin County as a caseworker for children and youth as well as an incident management coordinator for autism/developmental programs. When she is not working, she loves spending time with her family whether that be at her kid’s sports practices, traveling, dancing, bowling, or being outside.
After experiencing an easy pregnancy with her eldest daughter, Whitney felt a calling to help others grow their families through surrogacy. She served as a gestational carrier for two sets of intended parents after completing her own family. As a Surrogacy Coordinator, Whitney is honored to guide and support intended parents and surrogates through their journey. She focuses on ensuring everyone feels supported and cared for from match all the way until 6 months after delivery. She will be your biggest cheerleader and resource through this process. Along with being a coordinator, Whitney is also the host of our podcast Me, You, Who?! She truly has a passion for the industry and loves hearing everyone’s stories in such a fun way.
Whitney lives in Houston, Texas with her husband and their three children. Her husband is a high school teacher and coach so they spend a lot of time at the football field cheering him on. The whole family enjoys a fun movie night, and they are lucky enough to have a lot of family close by. Family parties and gatherings are frequent and fun!
Blake entered the world of surrogacy and egg donation first as a spouse. Now, as the Controller at Egg Donor and Surrogate Solutions, he manages the HR and Financial side of the business including escrow and trust management, HR, invoicing, payroll and accounts payable. Blake finds it a privilege when he’s given the opportunity to talk with other spouses whose wives are considering helping create a happy family. He feels honored to be a small part of helping our intended parents’ dreams become a reality.
Blake is grateful to work with such an amazing team and considers his work a passion, not a job. Blake loves spending time with his wife and 3 kids and he loves to play golf from time to time.
Erin derives immense satisfaction from effectively managing the intricacies of our business, allowing our coordinators, educators, and directors to dedicate their focus to what truly matters: YOU, our valued clients. With a Bachelor of Mathematics degree complemented by a minor in 8-12 Education from Texas Woman’s University, she brings a wealth of knowledge to her role. For six years, Erin shared her passion for education as a high school Mathematics teacher, cherishing the interactions with her students. Now, she is thrilled to contribute her talents to an agency that plays a pivotal role in building families. Residing in the DFW area alongside her incredible husband and son, Erin enjoys spending quality time with her loved ones, indulging in movie nights, exploring her artistic side through painting, and actively engaging in the children’s ministry at her local church.
Hillary understands firsthand what it means to have someone help you create your family. After struggling with infertility for several years following an ovarian cancer diagnosis, she was matched with a wonderful egg donor through Egg Donor Solutions. She and her husband, Jared, welcomed their daughter in 2015. Hillary combines her professional background in communications with her passion for supporting intended parents, egg donors and surrogates along their journeys to connect with people and share their personal stories. She believes in the power of storytelling to help educate everyone involved in the process, to let intended parents know they are not alone, and to show egg donors and surrogates the incredible impact they make by helping to create a family. Hillary has a bachelor’s degree in communication studies from the University of North Texas. She lives in Fort Worth, Texas, with her husband and daughter. Hillary enjoys spending time with family and friends, being outdoors, cooking and traveling.
