Albert and Chris’s paths should have never crossed, but in April 2011 they met at a birthday party in Washington, D.C. Albert was technically not invited but came with a friend; Chris had just moved back to DC one week prior and nearly could not make it to the party. As fate would have it, they connected that night, and two weeks later they spent hours talking on the steps of the Lincoln Memorial. This conversation was the start of an instant connection, and Albert and Chris have been together ever since.
Albert grew up in Arkansas and prior to attending college, Albert lived in Washington, DC and Tokyo, Japan working in healthcare business and policy. Chris grew up in Pittsburgh, where most of his family still lives, and he is the CEO of a multi-generational family business. Prior to becoming a chocolatier in his family business, Chris enjoyed a full career at the White House.
Both Albert and Chris have traveled the world and poured their hearts and souls into their careers, but now it is time for them to focus on family. Both come from large, close families, and they are now ready to create a family of their own through the help of a gestational carrier and IVF.
Albert and Chris are huge foodies and they love to travel. They love attending live concerts and events, and they love spending time with their nieces and nephews. Family is extremely important to them, and they are looking forward to creating their family together. They would love a close relationship with their surrogate, and they would like to be involved throughout the pregnancy.
